Hurry, Mister Zip! Hurry!

From the days before automatic sorting, optical character readers, bar codes, Priority Mail...your U.S. Post Office (not yet called Postal Service), and a guy we've all gotten to know, Mister Zip.

From the days before the expression "going postal."

This is dedicated to my friend and Chicken Fat blogger Eddie Hunter, of Marietta, Georgia, who made the Post Office, then the Postal Service, his home away from home for many years.
