Robots! Cool tin toy robots! I even recognize at least a couple of the robots from this Taschen Icons book, ROBOTS AND SPACESHIPS, as toys I once owned. Sadly, I am down to one toy robot, and it's of more recent vintage than the ones pictured in this book.
I'm sure the rest of the robots I acquired as a kid are rusted at the bottom of a 50-year-old landfill. At least I can look at the classic pictures.ROBOTS AND SPACESHIPS, Teruhisa Kitahara and Yukio Shimizu , TASCHEN 2001.
